(No Ratings Yet) Loading ...A farewell comes from the depths of my heart, as we mourne the death of the comic genious of George Carlin. His comedy and insight has brought many of us to tears with laughter, sheding light on what he saw as contradictory and absurd. He showed us a direction that would solve problems at times, no matter how politically incorrect his views were.
The fact of the matter is, his sarcasm helped mold me into who i am. He was one of four comic influences that i credit with my creation, or should i say molding. I will forever miss George, and for that matter hope to preserve a portion of who he is with my further posts on this blog.
Enjoy George Carlin, because above all else - George enjoyed those of us who appreciated the views he had. For more information about his death please google the news.

Code Example #4 - MSSQL Tests

This week I am working on extending an application that takes advantage of the MSSQL servers that proliferate my company. I am writing a number of changes, altering, creating and dropping tables, and unfortunately – the scripts have to be executed a number of times. This poses a simple challenge. I don’t want to be executing SQL that has already been executed on a previous run, so I have had to get creative in my queries in order to avoid this overlap. Below are a few of the tests that I am using.
