As amazing as the universe is, it is certainly not something that any of us can ever expect to understand fully. Astronomers, Astronauts, Cosmologists and Physicists help us with our lowly position on the knowledge totem pole in that they provide us with further fuel to our fire or thirst for further knowledge. This video highlights the fact that few of us really understand things well enough to be able to pass judgement on it.
Hubble has brought humanity some of the most amazing images detailing and supporting the current position of our world being insignificant in the grand scheme of things. While this may influence many of us to be afraid and sad it leads me to accept that we are on a journey into knowledge and affirms my atheistic convictions.
